Is there any way to avoid killing Anna Navarre?
Also How old are Gunther and Anna?
Does anybody know if Unatco born is still alive?
As an unrelated side note Gunther: if you do not kill him in Paris you never hear from him or of him again, so what he just gives up? That doesn't make much sense if you ask me. It would make more sense of his attacks became more and more desperate and irrational, maybe he guards Tiffany, or he ambushes you in the first bit of the ocean lab. (before the subs, like at the very beginning) He should show up at the missile silo, and inside Area 51 if you haven't killed him yet. Ah well.

Re: Anna Navarre
There is no way to avoid killing Anna, and it is highly difficult to avoid killing Gunther in Paris, to the point where no one would expect you to not kill him. The writers have never said how old they are.
Re: Anna Navarre
Without using exploits it isn't possible to let Anna survive.

Alternatively, if you bring Miguel up from the MJ12 prison you can let him kill her for you.

Re: Anna Navarre
If you don't kill Anna there the dialogue does take that into account, though I think it only comes up twice.
If you evade Gunther then the conversation talking about him dying does not play, but if you knock him out (and he can be knocked out) the flag saying he is dead is set (as well as the one saying he is unconscious) so the game acts as though he is dead. Other than that one conversation ("You sent him because you knew he would fight to the death.") I don't know if there is anything that references Gunther in conversation after the confrontation, so it doesn't appear to have much of an impact.
