I don't remember dx coop mods posted on these forums.

I remember there was once a dxcoop sort of thing going on at deusexgaming, but that has been inactive for a LONG time.

In my attempts to find out where the hell I dowloaded DXThievery again, I stumbled on some DX coop mod that has posted news 17 january 2007 and is therefore presumably fairly active :D

Did I mention that co-op is my favourite multiplayer mode, assuming that your co-players actually know what they're doing and not trying to kill you?
(I tried with the dxgaming one once, but that didn't work as expected)

if you like coop cyberpunk FPS/RPGs you should play system shock 2.

DX theivery? you sure you don't mean theivery for UT?

Nope: there's a thievery mod for DX that adds a lightgem (well, techno lightgem, anyway) and adjusts player translucency (and visibility) accordingly.

I finally had some time (and a co-player) to check things out, it seems that it uses a fair share of bandwidth, the second player currently has a choppy gameplay experience (not onworkable, but more than slightly annoying). Maybe it's better over LAN, but my mother and sister are not into DX, so I haven't checked that ;)

It's not production quality stability, but what do you expect of a V0? All in all I'd say it's usable for ~ half a mission, then it usually crashes either server or client (especially vulnerable on level changes), which I fix by starting a new game (saving is not possible, at least the menu item is missing) and loading up the last map, then cheating some weapons and skills and continuing.

If it's more stable, given time, this will be pretty damn cool :)

In general, the second player is less involved in the story, which is a shame, but understandable.

so yet no one develop a good DX Coop yet ? huh?. well there. rememver ther was a guy on clan DxP or something that says he could do a coop mod but now i don't hear anything about that guy or he's mod. So im asking to all you ppl. you know for an efective mod that plays convo in multiplayer. i just practicaly need that because we can set up the maps just using a command like serer travels if theres just a multiplayer packed that play convos online will be awesome.

I thought all the mods like that had died off.
I was recently point towards this site;

And that has a old Co-Op Download on it somewhere I think.

Wouldn't it be just the same to place NPC's in a Multiplayer map and allow you and a friend to fight it out with the NPC's rather than each other.
Yes I realise that NPCs don't work in MP but It'd be great if they did. I've heard of talk that someone made a mod that allowed NPCs to work in MP.
Me and my sister tend to play DX Hardcore Mod with the bots because that is quite alot of fun to play.
The real trouble with reality is that there's no background music.

No.

There once was a semi workable co-op mod for a single (non original game) map -Ryberg Field, I believe.

There are however people currently working on co-op for the actual game, but I have no idea how much success they're having. It's a complicated (and badly coded) game, after all.

Well, like ....any multiplayer in unreal.

LAN/TCP-IP or whatever. Essentially DX_MP only without all the streamlining deathmatchy-ness bits and actual NPCs doing NPC stuff.
