Mr. Hassat, could you tell me how to that?Or, if you don't want to use Shifter, just open the map in the SDK and re-add it to the level information.
I mean exactly?

Yes, nothing I tried actually worked. When I tried that still asked me for the CD, really can't say what caused the problem, but I could not actually play Deus Ex for ages and gave up modding for ages because of it.You know, did you try just removing the whole CD path line in the .ini, making a CD-rom no longer required?
Really? I had a Pentium III 800Mhz, 512MB RAM, Geforce FX graphics (128MB Graphics) card, DVD ROM, 15GB HD with Windows 98 and the good ol 56k dialup modem, but I don't know how good this is compared to a PS2. (The hard drive is lot less in capacity n my old machine)Way to contradict yourself within the same post.
PS2's were better than PC's at the time, but they couldn't render that big maps because it really couldn't triump PC's of that time...
Mine was the same. Are you using the GOTY Edition because after i install then the Patch over it (Yes i know GOTY is the latest patch but still) it worked fine without the CD then.Morpheus wrote:Yes, nothing I tried actually worked. Sold Out is GOTY. I have it somewhere, but I just installed from a pirated copy now - sets up the CD drive as a folder on my hard drive automatically so I don't get CD issues.fantsu wrote:Sold out version rules!
(cause I have it)
