Re: The Deus Ex Mod List

Post by WildcatPhoenix »

I posted this earlier in the Editing forum, but I thought this might be a good thread to post in as well:

The "Man in Black" mod is being revived. We are currently looking for help with the following positions:

-Mapper
-Texture Artist
-Character Skinner

For those of you who have never heard of Deus Ex: MiB, our mod is set one month after the events of the first game. Players will step into the shoes of "Agent Q," a prototype MiB Q Series agent in the employ of Majestic 12. Agent Q will wage war against the NSF and a resurgent Illuminati Order while trying to track down key fugitives such as Gary Savage and JC Denton.

Any interested parties can contact me here via PM or by e-mail at JustinPermenter@gmail.com.

Is FaceTown and Disclosure still alive? Facetown hasn't updated since very earlier this year and Disclosure hasn't updated since 2008.

Ooh I like that, very nice. The outside level part looks very reminiscient of Invisible War, don't you think?

Yes.

I like it, but the sound effects of footsteps are horrible IMHO.

I uploaded a recording of The Cassandra Project, probably the best mod ever done that was never finished (sadly). It's also where OTP borrowed The Narcissus Entity from for TNM...enjoy!

I also put Double Cross into the fan missions list...

I didn't read all 17 pages but your Der Zeit Mann link is going to GTAGaming.com. Here is a link you can get Der Zeit Mann from: http://deusex2.filefront.com/file/Der_Z ... _Mod;29102

I don't have time to keep checking these links, so just let me know when you find one that doesn't work, and I'll fix it.

DZM link changed to ModDB.

Questionable Ethics Link Made me lol

This List was really useful. Just trying out a few of the fan missions on the list I havent played.

I decided to use the UC Modloader and it works quite well. Making the .Int files for the mods that didn't use one was a bit of a pain in the butt but i intend to make one for each of the smaller fan missions and edit some of them and try ironing out some bugs that they had. I think I may make a Moddb page with them all on for future reference. All Credit given to the authors of course..
I will only be doing the small mods that are not already on Moddb but if anybody objects please say so.

Also, I hate fileplanet and downloading of Moddb is soo much easier :P
The real trouble with reality is that there's no background music.

Please please do.
If you've got enough time to post that here, you've got enough time to put a few screenies up.

If only that were true...plus I can post here from work, in between centrifuge runs and the like. I am, however, unlikely to get away with installing DX, modding it, and then playing it. ;)
