Any three consecutive lines, taken together, should make sense. If two lines before you indicates that the conversation is taking place in a bar, pick a line that makes sense in a bar. If two lines before you is a question, one line before you is an answer to that question, pick a line that makes sense when taking into account that the line before you was an answer to the question before it. And so on.

Also, the actual quote is:
Our biochem corpus is far in advance of theirs, as is our electronic sentience. And their...ethical inflexibility has allowed us to make progress in areas they refuse to consider.

not:
Our biochem corpus is far in advance of theirs, and the ethical 'inflexibility' has allowed us to make progress in areas they refuse to touch.

For the record.
I think Kdawg played the PS2 version:

"touch" is still wrong though.

Well, it looks like I've disgraced myself, as I wrote it on the fly. Still, suggesting that I played the PS2 is just going too far.

My friend and I have been quoting this game incessantly since it first came out, lol. Some of my favs:

"I KNOW THE DRAGON HEAD!!!" - random child in Hong Kong

"Once I saw thing like shark, but with four legs!" - bartender with horrible accent on a boat in Hong Kong

"Man, I am gonna look FINE in that coat!" - Jojo

...and my personal favorite:

"I WAS WALKIN' HERE!!!" - random guy in Hong Kong

The sad thing is that I remember the voices and intonation of these quotes. I need to play this stupid game again soon, HDTP/NV or not.
