OMG!! Resident Evil: Afterlife (the movie) - DX ripoff

To me this just screamed DX right away. I took a couple of screen grabs from the Resident Evil: Afterlife movie for your perusal:



I could've lived with having almost all fight scenes made in (annoying) Jonh Woo slow-mo style, and with "borrowing" every trick shot from the Matrix and Equilibrium movies, but I still can't get over the big boss looking like JC (and having some of the augmented abilities).

He's based off a generic Matrix type character, which is also what JC Denton is based off.

Haven't you seen RE5's Wesker? It's (Movie) the same because it's based on the game. Old news perhaps

The actor looks like DX2's JC, clothing style like DX1+Matrix (turtleneck zippershirt, but also a black coat).

Aside from the leather gloves and Samsonite belt buckle, that actually is fairly close to how I see JC, and a good Helios throne-of-light as well. Add a dark blue tint to the coat, and guns (, lots of guns), and that's him.

Except that this actor isn't even close to looking like Wesker nor JC.

Alot of others could have done the role.

I thought he looks similar to DX2's JC Denton. Same wide face, hair receding, hair style-

Not perfect, but it would pass for a JC in a Deus Ex movie.
