I've just updated my mod a lot, I put music in there (not DX music, this one is from Star Control II), fixed some conversations to sound better, (and added very many convos more) made some notes to be goals etc and I finally found out how to make npcs mortal and how to make them hostile and deleted the teleporter to Hell's Kitchen.(yea... I'm quite a beginner with this stuff).
Now you can actually kill any npc in the mod. A couple of them can turn hostile in convos.
I'm still making new stuff to the mod, it's such great fun!
I'm still annoyed that when then npcs speak their lips barely move - recording the voice is so difficult... The voice gets all buzzy...

You can download the newest version here! Go on!

And btw - I uploaded the mod on ModDB too! It's just awaiting authorisation.
I can't seem to download that, keep getting "Parallel download, Your IP address is currently downloading a file. Please wait till the download process is completed." and I am not even downloading anything.

That mod is kinda crazy... well... the dialogs especially :D . By the way concerning the voice recording just use Audacity to normalize. Depending on the record you can also filter out background noise to some degree. Did that in my test-recording on my project and works quite well (if background noise is not too loud).
