I just re-installed DX to get ready for NV and I was trying to figure out a rendering issue I have never been able to fix...
I have dxglr 21 installed

If your graphics card supports DX10,
Kentie's DX10 renderer fixes this issue. It's just bad depth perception by the renderer - though, I'm not sure why it's so extreme at a short distance.

kk I guess I will just have to live with it then. Even the DX9 renderer seems to be too much
Edit apparently the current D3d editor does work on my computer and the error disappeared so I am guessing the renderer (or my settings for it) were to blame

Yep, dxglr is the Glide renderer which is made for Voodoo cards. It's shit.

FWIW, I got this problem to clear up on the DX9 renderer by using 32-bit textures (probably OpenGL as well since I notice it there as well using NV+HDTP). Unfortunately this requires a lot of horsepower on the video card, so YMMV on it.
