a way to make the prisoner converstation on 03_nyc_unatcohq regular possible,
could be to add a nano key somewhere on the maps 03_nyc_unatcohq or 01_nyc_unatcohq
to be able to open the cell doors. of course this key had to be hidden very clever, as it still
sould be some kind of a secret.
also the door had to be redone to make it "locgical" work right:
-> door can only be opened with the nano key. also the door sould automaticly close after
say 2 or 3 seconds and the status must always be/return to locked.
if waltons needs to enter / leave the the cell by skript
-> give him the nano key into his inventory this sould work for him i guess.
i would not be too surprised if walton allready got a nano key for this door right now skripted into his inventory.
but as i have no idea how npcs spawned into a dxmap actualy work, this is only a wild guess
Edit:
ok there is no need for moding, this conversation can actually be accessed. as already mentioned by others, you can go into the cell with Walton, its a little time tricky to talk to the prisoners but its possible. also i was never suck in the cell, door will open as soon as you approach it, tested it several times.
so this is actual a real 'hidden conversation'.
Test conditions:
DeusEx GotY unmodfied except Map fix Pack for GotY.

By the way if you kill both of them you get different lines from Simons.
Re: Secret Deus Ex Conversations
If you avoid the whole catacombs level by cheating, when you reach La Porte de L'enfer and you walk towards the two women talking about Chad, they will still continue their conversation, yet if you try to talk with them, they'll call you rude and tell you to go away.
Paul, I know you said no phone messages, but South Street's going up in smoke. We'll have to meet at the subway station.

That's pretty cool. So maybe in earlier version, you could actually miss out the catacombs map?Xesum wrote:If you avoid the whole catacombs level by cheating, when you reach La Porte de L'enfer and you walk towards the two women talking about Chad, they will still continue their conversation, yet if you try to talk with them, they'll call you rude and tell you to go away.
The real trouble with reality is that there's no background music.

It's a shame there isn't a legit way to avoid the catacombs.nerdenstein wrote:That's pretty cool. I hate the catacombs.
And the Sewers.

I don't mind the catacombs. I wish they were bigger actually. More maze like. Not like a super difficult maze but just a little more interesting with more exploration.
The real trouble with reality is that there's no background music.
