£100 says it gets scrapped while they're working on it.

I quite enjoyed the hitman adaptation. Very true to the original material.
Also, cyborg action/crime movies are too rare, so I'll watch it just for that.

Adam Sandler will act this new guy, what-ever his name was. The new JC or whatever.

I'm guessing you're not really a Silent Assassin kind of player then, huh?AEmer wrote:Very true to the original material.

I was going "oh wow" until I realized I was watching a Skyrim trailer.

In the right hands, a Deus Ex movie could be awesome.
In the hands of the people who made the Hitman film - not so much. That film wasn't just a crappy adaptation, it was a really awful film by itself.

I am fairly optimistic. Unlike you lot.
I'm am looking forward to the Assassin's Creed film adaptation though however. They've already started with the cast. (Michael Fassbender (X-Men: First Class)) as a leading role.

I really hate that guy. I can't watch films with him in it.fantsu wrote:Adam Sandler will act this new guy, what-ever his name was. The new JC or whatever.
The real trouble with reality is that there's no background music.

If this does happen, they should get Christian Bale to do Adam. The character would suit him very well in my opinion.

Bale would absolutely work as Adam, I agree.
Personally, I'd rather see Viggo Mortensen as Adam. He works rather well in roles where the main character doesn't really have that much overt personality.
Bale is the better actor of the two, without a doubt, but it doesn't quite work for me.
Also, yes, I did not play as silent assasin in hitman

Oooh, good call AEmer. Viggo Mortensen played brooding, intense, and redeemable well, as that Russian Mafia type in Eastern Promises.

They could just get the guy who actually did the voice. He is, after all, an actor. :p

It would be weird to see Adam Jensen played by the voice of Adam Jensen.
