PHPBB3 themes

Hey guys.

So I've been thinking about upgrading the forums. Or, uh, rather: Getting Trestkon to upgrade them. PHPBB3 has been out for ages and we're due an upgrade, but it depends on a number of things, and one of them is whether we can find a theme we like. So... do you like any of these? And if so, which do you prefer?

I imagine a tweaked version of the PlayStation theme would've looked awesome, just make it a bit more blue as you said, Jonas. And perhaps make it a bit darker as well, I don't know.

Stick with the current theme (edit: "zeroSpace" that is) - if you ask me.

I'm using the default phpbb2 theme, so if the new default theme is still available I'm happy

That kinda rules out an upgrade to PHPBB3, though, since zeroSpace doesn't exist for that, sadly. That's why I'm asking.

Do you really need to upgrade? What is so much better about PHBB3 over PHBB2?

Edit: Rainbow pearl looks OK.

It has some solid new features and the writing window is much bigger, but mostly it has better security.

Well, I did a little bit of research and ...computer says no. phpBB2 seems to differ too much from phpBB3 for an easy solution. You'd have to rebuild it from scratch but I don't think that would be too difficult.

We're talking about a template not the entire phpBB-code. You'd have to ask the original creators of "zeroSpace" for permission first, though.

I think the 3myl_excellence looks the most like the current skin.
Recreating the current skin for phpbb3 seems counterproductive to me, although technically it would be possible.

I still say

because there's an insane amount of images involved in a template, as well as custom code to adjust all the sizing.
