I'm degrading this to a normal sticky post because all announcements appear in every forum now, and it's taking up unnecessary space

100*100 is fine, however I need 400kb for low quality version of my animated avatar or 800kb for normal quality.
Pretty please...? I've never had an avatar on this forum.

Actually my low quality avatar is 100x53 at 386.6kb in size... Can't make it anymore crappy as the quality is at the minimum already.

Sure, why not. Although we might have to dial it down if everyone starts doing it.

OMG That Is Freeking awesome... but sadly I need to go on make my avatar animated. Is there not an image type used online that takes up less space then huge .JPEG files?
