Deus Ex: Morpheus Website here

Post by Morpheus »

OK all, I have got my new site. its about my mod, so you know what its about.

http://deusexmorpheus.110mb.com/Website/HomePage.htm

don't go to http://deusexmorpheus.110mb.com/ directly, link fails to work for now.

I know where I am going with mod so i won't be asking too much anymore, just doing it myself, for now.

I absolutely hate the "What Deus Ex 2 wished it was" line. I personally thought Deus Ex 2 was awesome. But this isn't a DX2 debate - I think the website could do with some graphical work, but it serves it's purpose.

Not to mention putting it in quotes is pretty pretentious. Kinda makes it look like a quote, like it's taken from a review from the New York times or something

I agree with SnipaMasta. I also must relate this to an illustration:

Dare I laugh at that joke.. I love the small little pic with all of us on it :D

No.. What YOU wished it was. Also you've had quite a lot of unsuccessful mods. So what makes this one different?

That's a little harsh. At least he's being productive and working on something.

I think this is the part where I say "Okay then I'll make a giant mod out of spite and come back in 2 weeks"?

You say that like I've slacked on something. :-s

And its not very productive when you travel everywhere trying to skunk help off of everyone. At least he's not skeeting material, then I'd actually be pissed  .

Morpheus, just in case you are - don't be discouraged by the comments. At least you're trying - and heck, maybe it'll turn out to be a good mod (and I hope it will). Just keep the pretentious quotes off the website :D

Was my pic removed by the mods or photobucket?

I'm going to balance the equation here by saying DX:IW sucked and Morpheus is the man.

I didn't like it too much either. I beat it once, and it hasn't been on my system since.

IW was nice... on the X-box. It was absolutely horrid on the PC, though. Whoever was in charge of reverse porting it to PC should be thrown in a volcano. I'm playing it on PC now. It ridiculously stutters and lags and pauses. Shooting my gun? That'll be a second and a half wait while the game goes "OMGWTFBBQ combat what do I do!!?!?!". Pick up a box, and item, or a corpse? Same pause. Jump? Pause. Talk to someone? Pause. Open my inventory? Pause. It's not even low FPS lag (I'm getting 10-40 FPS, it varies widely), it's like the game's struggling through a million and a half coding errors as it goes along.

Thanks for taking this completely off topic into yet another IW slag off fest. This topic is not about Invisible War, don't talk about how "bad" it is.

BTW Jet, 10-40 isn't good FPS. I never experienced any 'lag'. The pause you are talking about is the character putting his gun away (with the sword it's far more obvious). Because when brandishing a sword or SMG it's hard to pick up barrels and boxes.[/i]

10-40 is a pretty broad range of FPS. 10 is definitely on the low side of things, but anything above 16 is decent enough. 24 is what films run on, so that should do the trick.
