Yes, you do need to say more because I've never played any Unreal games outside of Unreal 2. And that was just the demo.

But you do realize that Deus Ex was built on the Unreal-engine, right? Unreal I and II are ScFi/Fantasy-singleplayer egoshooters envolving aliens. Unreal II was a big disappointment for me.
UT III, however, is a new installment in the Unreal Tournament-series which focuses on the multiplayer part, which it is very famous for. It plays more like fast paced sports then like a traditional shooter. Personally I prefer slower tactic shooters but the Unreal-games also became popular because they were very open for mods.

Erm, yeah, actually it was something like:"DOWNLOAAAD! AND! PLAAAAY!" but then I changed my mind (and the posting).

Thanks but I was never really interested in competitive multiplayer games.

I'm more of a co-op guy :)

I'll only acquire UT04 for the purpose of playing DX:R. I'm not really a fan of deathmatch type games, I only got QIII for the Team Arena aspect.

And co-op is fun too, I love playing through HL with Sven coop.

Well I've just been playing it for the last 2 hours. Both on and offline very cool! All the graphic settings turned up and it looks like Gears of War! I also LOVE the new hoverboard, it's so much better to cruise on your board in a big map like most vehicle maps are, instead of the long lonely walk like in UT04.

Monthly bandwidth essentially maxed here for the month, wireless hardware on order, and no limitless internet for me until monday; I get to wait.

If it's downloading slowly, I'm sure someone posted a torrent somewhere. Essentially legal, and faster with more clients on the torrent.

I just finished downloading (left the thing on overnight). Now I'll just hope it boots (I have a lame 6200 in this thing).

I usually like Co-op as well, however, I think the team stuff in UT is close enough. Assault ftw :D

Edit: Amazingly, it runs. It actually runs pretty well and exceeded expectations.

It runs fine and I really like that "Heatray"-map. I am a bit disappointed of the graphics though. I expected more of something that has been called nextgen so often. Gameplaywise I don't think it'll be a must-have for me but it's fun for a while.
