Been playing Prototype on the 360. It's a pretty good game. I've also been on and off of DXMP as well as playing Shenmue on the Dreamcast(best game on the Dreamcast).

I mostly fixed my problems with Gothic! Now every time I start the game I have to go into the options and reset my display settings and resolution, but that's not too significant a cost of being able to finish the motherfucker.

Yep sounds like the experience I had...
Jonas wrote:Far Cry 2 was great, loved it all the time I played it, but it kept freezing for ~5 seconds every couple of minutes and crashing to desktop every 20-30 minutes. That was on XP. Then I installed Windows 7 and upgraded my RAM and my video card, and FC2 still crashed. So now I dunno - it's on backburner until I have the energy for another round of debugging or I find a hardware configuration that can run it reliably.
That's gotta suck. I was playing mine on XP and had no problems. I did have it patched, can't remember what version though.

I wonder what that's going to be like? I'm a huge BAS fan... although I've never seen a Batman game yet that did it justice...

I read somewhere that the latest patch was giving some people some problems, where it was working fine then after that patch it started crashing... If in fact it's true... I'd have to say that's quite a shitty patch!

My Fallout 3 is still working... I don't have the latest patch installed.

It looks like it'll be a mixture between a stealth game, an adventure game, and a brawler. Splinter Cell meets Street Fighter, if you will. From the videos I've seen, it looks really good - we'll see if the final game lives up to it :)

Anybody playing America's Army 3? I've just started getting into it, I quite like it - anyone else playing, my Steam ID is "snipamasta".

I'm going to be playing Beyond Good and Evil, and Chronicles of Riddick. I know almost nothing about them.

Minesweeper's better.
Paul, I know you said no phone messages, but South Street's going up in smoke. We'll have to meet at the subway station.
