On a lighter note, I'm glad everyone likes the countdown! It took a bit of time to get the right size and color down, just ask Moonbo

So yeah, that'll stay up until the release, at which time it will be hid away, ready to strike for the next countdown for the next released phases

Do you guys have any suggestions for the counter? I figured I'd made it just mysterious enough to get new people interested in why a giant number was on the front page, but recognizable and more enticing for the repeat people to see that HDTP is indeed close to the eagerly awaited first release!

I checked out the front page and it said "2" and for a second I thought that the date was bumped up, but then it loaded the "8", and I thought "damn!"

For the tester level will all textures be better quality? I'm guessing that this project must have at least one texture done for each part of the mod so this should be possible. Just that I imagine it will look quite strange with differing texture quality.

Couldn't you have released 28 days from now without even telling us? Waiting is agony.
