I know that HDTP may be release on this half of the century so i bought a new rig. To cut the long story short, its got an i5-2500k and GTX 480. is that going to be enough or should i have waited another 5 years for better hardware to run the mod?
You could easily run New Vision and HDTP on a semi-decent computer from 2005 (in fact a lot of New Vision has been done on my Dad's Dell computer, which fits that description). There's no advanced graphic shaders or particularly high poly models, so they both run well on mid range graphics cards and minimal processors.
lol this half century. don't know if i'll actually play Deus Ex again if HDTP does come out, as I am going through one last run now. But if it takes another 5 years, then I might lol. But then at that point, Deus Ex 4 will be out and the original might be a bit to qauint (however that word is spelt)
