If you want to make high def starfield skybox textures, though...please do. I'm sure I can find a home for them.

I've modified TNM_Misc_Tex, I think the starfield is in TNM_Core_Tex though? God, our texture package structure sucks. Anyway the starfield already is high-res... depending on how you define "high", I guess...

I'm talking about 4096X4096 for each image.

I really wanted to do some high-res skybox textures for various levels in Deus Ex but since a New Vision map-pack looks unlikely I guess that won't happen. I think the crap skyboxes are what makes Deus Ex look so terrible most of the time.

Okay well it's really easy to replace our skybox textures in the space station maps, they're just six sides of a box, plus a few planes with the galaxy and the Earth and all that.

If you want to be really awesome, make a new texture for ForumPlanet that isn't just a big picture of Earth, since it's totally not meant to have the same continents

I'll give it a go - I suggested it mostly because I came across this awesome starfield generator the other day and thought it would cool to replace them. I only remember them because I spent ages trying to make the current ones seamless!
