Yeah, maggie has one or two in her apartment.

Thales: you could always model the basic 'wooden frame' of the raised rim bit in 3d, and then put 2D sheets in between the frames with the masked sections on, so sort of half-way between uber low poly and uber high poly. Of course, that might end up inheriting the worst of both worlds, but it's an idea.

Yea I was thinking about doing that. I will see how it looks tomorrow. I have to watch my neice today and tonight so I can't use the computer much.

BTW I got C4D and it is INSANELY user friendly. Wierd to work with for now but I will get used to it.
