Hey guys, so about a month ago, my new issue of my favorite gaming magazine SCORE came out. They have this section called "Retro", where they remind us of some old classics. Well, this month's game was DX. It was nothing new, but they did include a short reviews of three mods (TNM, Zodiac and Burden of 80 Proof), so I decided I could translate the TNM one for you (They also added a full version of DX:HR on the DVD that comes with it). I'm just gonna say sorry before I even start, because I've never done any proper translating skills, so it's probably going to be horrible and full of typos.
Deus Ex was from its release a great challenge for skilled fans, and Ion Storm, including Spector, supported modifications as well. In these long years came out many memorable modifications, which not only changed the graphical side of the game, but also added new, original content. For the purpose of this massive retrospective of DX, we chose three of probably most interesting mods, which by no means should slip through your agumented fingers.
Modification of year 2009, and probably the best full conversion mod of the original DX ever. Seven years of development brought to the world two main storylines, campaign of tens if hours of gameplay and more side quests than the original game. We could talk about the changes that TNM brought for hours. Complex story makes both serious and not so serious jokes about the anarchy on internet forums (I'm having problems with translating this one, if anyone got it and has a better alternative, please tell me - translator's note), adds the ability to create explosives, long lines of dialogue and a big number of side texts. TNM is more of a standalone game worshiping the cult of DX, then just an amateur modification, and by installing it you'll get a new view on the geniality of the original.
Any help with finding typos and misspelling is welcome. If anybody is interested I could add the review of Zodiac and Burden of 80 proof as well.
Edit: Ugh, this is what happens when I try doing more things at once in different laguages... I went through it and fixed all mistakes I could find, I hope it's better now.
