Shane's Awesome Idea
Shane suggested to me last night that we should contact the Deus Ex devs and get them to voice bit parts. At first I thought he was nuts, but now I think it might be an interesting idea. The worst they would do would be to say no. It might also be interesting to draw their collective attention to TNM, and possibly garner a mention in a blog or two.
If any of them agree, though, I suggest they would get their own NPC with 4-5 barks, which would be placed in in random location.
What do you guys think? If you like the idea, we'll need to gather some contact info.

I think it's a good idea but I don't have the guts to make the contact so you'll have to handle that. Who will be writing their lines?
We have several maps that could benefit from more minor characters. Especially Downtown.

I have no problem emailing them.
I would think that you would write they're lines I assume they would also be basically made pretty obvious as to who they were, ingame. So they're lines don't necessarily have to relate entirely to our game situation, although a blending of the two would be nice.

I suggest Al Yarusso (as an apology for us calling his code crap in public), Alex Brandon, and Steve Powers (my personal hero of level design).

Oh we should probably ask Chris Norden too, if we can find him.
