Deus Ex-based skeleton with NPC animations?
So I've been screwing around with Milkshape 3d, and I've morphed a character model from another game (Doom 3, in this case) into the approximate proportions of the Deus Ex character models, but I have no idea where to go from here. Are there any Deus Ex skeletons floating around I can use to animate it, or will I have to do it all by hand and hope for the best? Screenshot below so y'all can view the fantabulously bad morphed model (with GM_Jumpsuit on top of it to demonstrate).
I have opened the mayor. When the power drops, go in, and go in, and go in like the US Marshal and his three daughters and we lose the vaccine!

Deus Ex does not support skeleton animations, you'll have to vertex animate it. Since I have little knowledge about 3D stuff I wouldn't know how to proceed.

Ah. I'll probably have to switch to a different modelling program for that, though, cause MS3D doesn't support vertex animation. Any suggestions?

Hi
In ms3d there are default male/female skeletons included with the program. You can expand upon these joints if you wish or delete what is necessary and conform. Then assign the Certs to the skeleton

I decided I'd put this model on hold and just try and make a skin first. Seems more my level of skill. I'll get back to it if/when I feel like fiddling with modelling programs again.

How's it look? Constructive criticism appreciated.

HDTP improves a number of animations, though unfortunately too few. 2027 had some great ones too, though it's a TC.machina wrote:If you will be the one to make the first "DX with animations" mod I will paypal you ten Heinekens.

Whops, just realized that this should be in CyberPs thread. ^^bjorn98009_91 wrote:Yeah, the gore is good
It would be next to impossible as one first have to implement skeletal animation support (not impossible, but would still take ages) and then include a new physics engine and that would be impossible since we can't modify the game engine due to no source code.machina wrote:But... but... where are the ragdoll physics?
