It's amazing! The detail is just too awesome. And Dave did it all by his onesies? Madness...

... And New Vision is still Number one on Moddb.
The real trouble with reality is that there's no background music.

Hell, if he periodically updates it the mod may reach 1 million hits overtime.nerdenstein wrote:... And New Vision is still Number one on Moddb.
The first DX game has also been boosted into the top 20 list on moddb, we may experience a community revival of old and new players here
Re: Congratulations, you crazy bastard
Well, that might happen anyway purely from HR. I was on ModDB and decided to check on some of the mods I've uploaded, and found that Redsun 2020 had been claimed back by Senju, one of the original developers for it (I think).Undisputed wrote:Hell, if he periodically updates it the mod may reach 1 million hits overtime.nerdenstein wrote:... New Vision is in the PCGamer Magazine this month at Number 3 in the Top 10 Downloads list.

The UK version? Just had a look and all I can find in stores is the December version (I assume this was probably November's issue?) - don't suppose you have a copy and could take a picture?nerdenstein wrote:New Vision is in the PCGamer Magazine this month at Number 3 in the Top 10 Downloads list.

Re: Congratulations, you crazy bastard
Yeah it was the November version; It had Skyrim on the cover.
Hold on, I'll take a pic on my phone and try posting it.

Its finally done! Thank You! Just in time for me to install Deus Ex and TNM on my fancy new laptop!

Re: Congratulations, you crazy bastard
That's really cool - thanks for taking a picture of it. I know a French and German magazine contacted me about including it on their cover disks, but I don't recall PC Gamer UK contacting me. Might have picked up a copy had I known (though it's something like £6.50 now isn't it?)nerdenstein wrote:Yeah it was the November version; It had Skyrim on the cover.

Re: Congratulations, you crazy bastard
The November Edition didn't come with a Disc.
They decided to make the magazine longer as a result. I don't know if they carried that on for the December copy because I haven't seen it yet.
It cost me £5.99.

Re: Congratulations, you crazy bastard
I'll check if they do as I have to go shopping out soon. I hope they have a disc this issue. I would hate for them to stop now since I finally have decent specs to run the stuff they put on the DVD'S.

Re: Congratulations, you crazy bastard
Nope, coverdisk is gone (Sorry for the delay, there were no issues in stock when I checked on monday)

Ahh. Well, they've included all the same stuff in the mag and just given links. It's not so bad.

Re: Congratulations, you crazy bastard
Given that modern game demos can be up to 1gb each, cover discs are probably impossible to make in the same way nowaday. Plus it saves money, and game magazines need money quite badly.
